Analgesia Tips
You are called to a private residence for reports of a male patient complaining of chest pain. Upon arrival the patient is a 62 year old male who states that yesterday afternoon he tripped over his carpet at home and fell into his kitchen island on his left side, and has been having L sided chest wall pain with tenderness ever since. There was no LOC or head injury and he has functioned fine since the fall. He states that he is managing but would now like to get an x-ray. He hasn't taken anything yet for the pain however he did take some ASA at the request of CACC during his 9-1-1 call.
